The pro audio and telecommunications industries have long used TT (tiny telephone) connectors in patch bays. sed to be a standard in the patch bays and consoles of home and commercial studios. These connectors descended from the cables used by switchboard operators in the military and private sector. Jack design includes “wiping” action of contacts for low resistance connections. The contacts supplied depend on the jack selected. Silver plating is normally on tip, ring and/or sleeve springs.
Similar in design to “M Connector T-Jax” except frame is double width, with two mounting ears.
MIL-Type No. JJ-88 mates with Nos 411, 412, 413, 420N and 425 Plugs
Long Frame 6.35mm Plug ¼” Female Sterio Audio Receptacle Socket.
