Although they primarily produced microphones for voice-frequency communications work, they also made higher-fidelity models which are much less common. The company reorganized as Omnitronics LLC in 2000, and later combined CAD, Astatic and Omnitronics under the CAD Audio brand.

Model PM-9000 power module houses microphone electronics and features a superior low noise transformerless design for optimum frequency response.
