Copal Shutter Assembly with reflex viewing system. Expertly crafted "Guillotine Copal Shutter" with a special bayonet lens mount measuring about 1.5" ID.
Could have been used for a high speed electronic (oscillographic) motion
capture system or vidicon camera front end? The whole assembly is approx 2-1/2" square and has two motors, a 0.60" dia 4-wire stepper w/gear and a Namiki high -eff PM motor, less than 1/2" in dia, which could opperate from a single solar cell. The optics include a single surface mirror with reflex prism. Micro gears and dozens of miniature metric screw, etc.
