Heintz & Kaufman LTD - 54 - Tube, Electron. Gammatron.

The Gammatron HK54 from Heintz & Kaufman dates from the late 1930's and was designed for use as a VHF transmitter Power amplifier. The tantalum anode has a 50 Watt dissipation and the maximum anode voltage is 3,000 V. The anode will glow cherry red at full dissipation.

General Purpose Triode (HK-54), Tantalum Plate Transmitting Tube.

Base: UX-Base (4 Pins (2 thick, USA 1924, UX) Sidecontact and top contact.

Was used by: Transmittertube (Radio)

Filament: Vf 5 Volts / If 5 Ampere / Direct

Base: 4 Pin, 35mm d x 29.0mm deep.
