Cleveland Steel & Polymer - 056-6717B – Neoprene Rubber Gasket 0.125" x 4.45" Round (3.175mm X 113.03mm)
Also called Chloroprene Rubber (CR) or polychloroprene.Ideal for applications that are exposed to gases and water ingress, providing excellent weathering and ozone resistance. As a synthetic rubber, neoprene rubber, vs rubber, is composed of chemical compounds, making it stronger and more durable than natural rubber. Due to its chemical makeup, neoprene sheeting is a common material used to create industrial neoprene parts. Used as a water seal and reinforced with nylon fabric to provide extra strength and prevent stretch.
Black Neoprene Rubber Gasket 0.125" thick x 4.45" Round with convenient hole 1.78" (45.212mm) directly in the center.
Temperature: -20 F to 170 F Continuous
Tensile Strength: 1000 psi min
Applications: Commonly called ring gaskets, use them with raised-surface pipe flanges; they fit the surface inside the bolt holes and do not interfere with the bolt connection.
Note: We also have a nice black glass filled Nylon Ring P/N 056-5891B, same diameter with 1.7" ID hole, again, Right smack in the center, with 8 mounting holes - 0.425" thick in middle, slopes down to 0.07" thick at edge.
