Important: The tachometer is mounted on the Front or Drive Shaft End of the unit assembly. Power is applied the leads farthest from the shaft. The Tachometer output terminals are located on the side closest to the shaft. This is different than most other motors that typically have the Tachometer/Encoder on the rear.
