MS-043 - Hardware, Speed Nut / Retaining Ring.
Also known as flat-style speed nuts, these have a large surface to distribute loads better than standard and flanged external push rings. Use them on unhardened shafts that are softer than the push ring. The ring bites into the metal to form an interference grip. Spring nut provides the correct amount of spring tension without damaging surfaces. Eliminates the need for lockwashers and spanners. For use with threaded screws and studs. Reusable. Nut surface accepts paint without clogging.
