Portage Electric Products, Inc.(Pepi ®) has been making bimetallic thermal control devices to make and break electrical circuits for over a half century.  

The PEPI Model B is a creep action thermostat with a shunted type bimetal design. This lowers the current sensitivity and reduces the cycle rate of this device.
